Laura Labrador was born and raised on the north shore of Oahu, where she established a profound affinity for the ocean at an early age. At her home break, Haleiwa, she spent her adolescent years surfing until dusk each day, attaining an intuitive understanding for the ocean its waves. While earning a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Hawaii she began surfing the south shore of Oahu religiously. After several years of working in special education, Laura's dedication to the autistic population has shaped her to become an attentive and invested teacher. Now residing in San Francisco, Laura embodies the spirit of aloha where ever she goes. By combining her passion for teaching and surfing, she extends the warmth of the islands to the chilly coasts of California.
